Meanwhile, the ~occupiers!!1~ are A) being generally racist, sexist used diapers B) swooping in and trampling all over the community organizing and work that women and minorities have been doing for decades and C) sleeping safe and sound at night because they feel so good about themselves for raging incoherently at The Man for five minutes into a megaphone every weekend while I have nightmares about getting shot in the head by deranged anti-choicers.
You don’t do anything. You haven’t done anything. You are no one. You stomp and scream and pat yourself on the back for what, exactly? Name one fucking thing OWS has done for the impoverished, desperate women who flood the clinic every week. Go ahead, I’ll wait. NAME ONE. I spent all fucking year last year trying to get the activists in my city out to pro-choice events, and it was like pulling teeth, because unless there’s an opportunity for self-promotion or getting arrested, they don’t give a fuck.
